Endeavour Chicago's partner is the Chicago Park District and activities are conducted on Chicago Park District/City of Chicago property. Chicago Park District will modify park operations and services in accordance with “Restore Illinois”, the State's response plan to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
All Chicago Park District in-person programming is suspended until further notice. Endeavour activities hope to resume in June 2021.
ENDEAVOUR'S MISSION
Launched in June 2016 during the Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series at Navy Pier, the America's Cup Endeavour Chicago program lives on the fresh waters of Chicago. Endeavour Chicago has reached over 5,200 students and continues to grow with Chicago support.
The America's Cup Endeavour Chicago program offers Chicago students, ages 10-15, hand-on experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) through the sport of sailing. AC Endeavour Chicago offers it's unique and specialized curriculum - both on and off the water STEM labs - through Field Trips, Spring, Fall, and Summer programs.

2021 TENTATIVE SEASON SCHEDULE
Endeavour Chicago STEM + Sailing programs combine applied sciences, fresh water and sport in an interactive, engaging environment for 10 -14 year old inner city youth. All classes are held at Monroe Harbor.

Saturday, June 19 at the Endeavour Boat House, Monroe Harbor
SUMMER STEM + SAILING CAMP
One week program hosted at Monroe Harbor. Open to students entering 5th - 8th grades. No prior boating experience required. Scholarships available - program fee for students may be subsidized up to 100%.

SUMMER FIELD TRIPS
One day summer opportunities to participate in the STEM + Sailing program are open to student groups with a STEM, activity based curriculum. Contact us for more information.

Registration for this years program may be completed through Chicago Park District online.
Students are limited to one session. Costs and additional program details will be available on the CPD site.

Students may apply for a scholarship from the Endeavour Chicago Foundation.

We connect interested Alumni with opportunities to continue sailing in Chicago with Jackson Park Yacht Club, Chicago Yacht Club, and Chicago Park District. High School Sailing, Sea Scouts & After School Matters coaching positions are also opportunities to continue with the sport.

From June 2016 - October 2020, with support from Chicago Park District,
Chicago Match Race Center and private funding,
Endeavour Chicago has taught STEM + Sailing to 5,200 middle school students.
Our goal is to reach across every neighborhood in Chicago and welcome all willing students to learn about Lake Michigan, STEM, safety and boating.
